1. Purpose of Processing Personal Information

Global KITA Inc. (hereinafter "Company") processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information being processed will not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent will be implemented. • Member registration and management: Identity verification for membership services, membership maintenance and management, prevention of service misuse • Service provision: University search, application submission, scholarship information, community services • Grievance handling: Identity verification, confirmation of complaints, contact and notification for fact-finding, notification of processing results

2. Personal Information Collected

The Company collects the following personal information for service provision. Required items: • Email address, password, name • Nationality, preferred language Optional items: • Phone number, profile photo • Educational background, language test scores (TOPIK, TOEFL, etc.) • University and program application information

3. Processing and Retention Period

The Company processes and retains personal information within the retention and use period prescribed by law or agreed upon when collecting personal information from the data subject. • Member information: Until membership withdrawal (however, if preservation is required by relevant laws, until that period) • E-commerce related records: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce) • Access log records: 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act)

4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Company does not provide personal information of data subjects to outside parties in principle. However, the following cases are exceptions: • When the data subject has given prior consent • When required by law or when requested by investigative agencies in accordance with procedures prescribed by law • When submitting applications to universities (separate consent required)

5. Destruction of Personal Information

The Company destroys personal information without delay when personal information becomes unnecessary due to the expiration of the retention period or achievement of processing purposes. • Electronic file format: Permanently deleted in a way that cannot be recovered or reproduced • Paper documents: Shredded or incinerated

6. Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects

Data subjects may exercise the following rights regarding personal information protection against the Company at any time: • Request to view personal information • Request for correction in case of errors • Request for deletion • Request to stop processing These rights can be exercised through written request, phone, email, or fax to the Company, and the Company will take action without delay.

8. Changes to Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective from January 1, 2025. When there are additions, deletions, or modifications due to changes in laws, policies, or security technology, we will notify through announcements 7 days before the implementation of the changes.
