Terms of Service

The purpose of these Terms is to stipulate the terms and conditions of use, rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Global KITA Inc. (hereinafter "Company") and members regarding the AiTopik platform (hereinafter "Service").

① "Service" refers to the Korean study abroad support platform provided by the Company, including university search, application submission, scholarship information, and community services. ② "Member" refers to a person who has entered into a service agreement in accordance with these Terms and uses the services provided by the Company. ③ "ID" refers to the email address set by the member and approved by the Company for member identification and service use. ④ "Password" refers to a combination of letters and numbers set by the member for identity verification and protection of member information.

① These Terms apply to all members who wish to use the Service. ② The Company may amend these Terms within the scope that does not violate relevant laws when deemed necessary. When the Terms are amended, the Company will post the effective date and reasons for the change together with the current Terms on the Service homepage from 7 days before the effective date. ③ Members may discontinue using the Service and withdraw if they do not agree to the amended Terms. If a member continues to use the Service after the effective date of the amended Terms, they will be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.

① The service agreement is concluded when a person who wishes to become a member agrees to these Terms, applies for membership, and the Company approves it. ② If false information is entered or another person's information is misused when applying for membership, the Company may refuse or terminate the service agreement. ③ The Company may not approve applications in the following cases: • When using a name other than the real name or using another person's name • When there is false information, omissions, or errors in the registration content • When it is determined that registering as a member significantly interferes with the Company's technology

① The Company provides the following services: • Information on Korean universities and programs • University application preparation and submission services • Scholarship information • Community services • Visa and living guide information • Korean language test (TOPIK, EPS-TOPIK) information • Other services developed or provided through partnerships ② The Service is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in principle. However, the Service may be temporarily suspended due to system maintenance, expansion, replacement, failure, service improvement, etc.

① Members shall not engage in the following activities: • Registering false information when applying or making changes • Misusing another person's information • Altering information posted by the Company • Transmitting or posting information other than that prescribed by the Company (such as computer programs) • Infringing on the intellectual property rights of the Company or third parties • Damaging the reputation of the Company or third parties or interfering with their business • Publicly posting obscene or violent messages, images, sounds, or other information that violates public order and morals ② Members must comply with relevant laws, the provisions of these Terms, usage guidelines, precautions announced in relation to the Service, and matters notified by the Company.

① The Company shall not engage in activities prohibited by relevant laws and these Terms or that violate public order and morals, and shall do its best to provide continuous and stable services. ② The Company shall have a security system in place to protect personal information so that members can use the Service safely. ③ The Company shall process opinions or complaints raised by members if deemed legitimate.

① Copyrights and intellectual property rights to the Service belong to the Company. ② Copyrights to posts made by members within the Service belong to the respective members. However, the Company may use members' posts without separate permission, free of charge, within a reasonable scope consistent with fair practices under the Copyright Act for the purpose of operating, displaying, transmitting, distributing, and promoting the Service.

① Members may apply for termination of the service agreement at any time through the settings menu within the Service, and the Company shall process this immediately in accordance with relevant laws. ② The Company may terminate the service agreement without prior notice if a member falls under any of the following cases: • Violation of these Terms • Interference with the normal operation of the Service • Illegal activities

① The Company is exempt from responsibility for providing the Service if it is unable to provide the Service due to force majeure such as natural disasters, war, or suspension of service by telecommunications operators. ② The Company is not responsible for service interruptions caused by the member's own fault. ③ The Company is not responsible for the reliability, accuracy, or content of information, data, or facts posted by members on the Service. ④ The Company has no obligation to intervene in disputes that arise between members or between members and third parties through the Service, and is not responsible for damages resulting from such disputes.

① Litigation regarding disputes between the Company and members shall be under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court of the Republic of Korea as the court of first instance. ② The laws of the Republic of Korea shall apply to lawsuits filed between the Company and members.

These Terms shall be effective from January 1, 2025.
